Paris, in a courtyard at No. 80 Quai de Jammapes, along the Canal st. Martin, there is Le Comptoir Général, it's quite "bo-bo"(bohémien-bourgeois), the entrance looks like an old lobby of a hotel, there are 2 large rooms, one that hosts concerts and conferences, and another topped with a large window, a beautiful shabby checkered floor and you can sit on recycled chairs and vintage sofa, a bar area with a large wooden counter and a small garden outside. Upstairs they sell books and used clothes. The philosophy of the place is to minimize the environmental impact and hosting all the events that relate to sustainable development. The atmosphere is cozy and familiar, if you are in Paris is definitely worth a pass.

COMPTOIR GENERAL
