THE WORLD FROM ABOVE BY KATRIN KORFMANN

Buon viaggio antropologico!

Katrin Korfmann is a German photographer based in Amesterdam, the subject of her research is the cohesion between space and time and for this reason her work moves on the border of photography and cinema. In "Count for nothing" her pictures are taken from above, in different places of the globe, and in various moment, and then they are merged in a new pictures with the help of the image editing, showing in this way, literally the progression of time. The persons in Korfmann pictures, seen from above, seem the same, but on her site http://www.katrinkorfmann.com/-en  where you can see all the images with the information about the places and the time she needed to take them, is possible to zoom on the picture with results that you can discover different uses, costumes, and interactions between them.
