EMILIO PUCCI

Emilio Pucci was born in Naples of one of Florence’s oldest noble families, his first encounter with fashion was by chance, it all began drowing a ski outfit for a friend in 1947, was photographed by Toni Frissell, a photographer working for Harper's Bazaar. Frissell's editor asked Pucci to design skiwear for a story on European Winter Fashion, which ran in the winter 1948 issue of the Bazaar. From there he began his rise crowned with a great success, especially in America. His headquarters were located at the ancient Palazzo Pucci in Florence. His prints leave a mark in the history of fashion.

 Emilio Pucci, nato a da una nobile famiglia fiorentina, iniziò la sua carriera di stilista per caso, disegnando una tuta da sci per un'amica nel '47, la tuta fu fotografata dall'amica Tony Frissell, che lavorava per  Herper's Bazaar, l'editor della Frissel chiede a Pucci di disegnare abbigliamento da sci per un articolo sulla moda invernale in Europa. Da lì ha inizio la sua ascesa coronata con un gran successo soprattutto oltreoceano. Legato alle sue nobili origini fiorentine, trasferisce il suo quartier generale a Firenze a palazzo Pucci. Le fantasie dei suoi tessuti lasciano un segno nella storia della moda.
