LES DEMOISELLES DE KIGALI

Les Demoiselles de Kigali necklaces are a product of Rwandan handcraft, conceived and manufactured by a women's and girl's cooperative created after the tragic events of 1994, which devastated that country.
The cooperative brings together women and girls of different ethnic groups and gives them the means to earn some money to contribute to the upkeep of their families, but above all empowers them and makes them proud to feel autonomous, and to reveal the creativity innate in their cultural tradition.

Le collane Les Demoiselles de Kigali sono un prodotto dell'artigianato ruandese, ideate e confezionate da una cooperativa di donne formatasi dopo i tragici avvenimenti del 1994 che hanno sconvolto il Paese.
La cooperativa riunisce donne e ragazze delle varie etnie, e dà loro modo di guadagnare il denaro per contribuire al sostentamento delle loro famiglie, ma soprattutto le rende orgogliose di sentirsi autonome e di esprimere la loro creatività.
