The project narrates the creative path of Daniella Castellani presented by large-format paintings, installations and site-specific soundtrack. Characterised by a refined and exquisite use of fabrics (taffeta, organza and chiffon), the artworks present themes and motifs as heritage of her past experience in fashion.
Great attention is given to the light and to the spatial component that accentuates the tactile and the threedimensional presence of the canvas.
with the installation "Passaggi", the artist rises to artwork the wayfaring staff, sublimated through bright colours and ethnic motifs, while dancers and geometries are distinctive elements in the artist's production.
Daniella Castellani displays a suspended dance investigating the boundaries and mysteries of life. Her dancers whirl without dancing, reminding us of that timeless wisdom that "every action should be carried out with the lightness of a dance step, in good as in bad time".

Ha inaugurato all'Accademia Costume&Moda di Roma la prima mostra personale di Daniella Castellani: Il mio tempo.
Il progetto espositivo racconta attraverso tele di grande formato, installazioni e tracce sonore il percorso creativo della Castellani.
La mostra è caratterizzata dall'uso elegante e raffinato del tessuto (taffetà, organza chiffon), le opere propongono temi cari all'artista come testimonianza alla sua pluriennale esperienza nel campo della moda.
Grande attenzione è data alla componente luminosa e spaziale che accentua la tattilità e la tridimensionalità delle tele. Con l'installazione "Passaggi", l'artista eleva ad opera d'arte il bastone del viandante, sublimato con colori sgargianti e motivi etnici, mentre ballerine e motivi geometrici costituiscono elementi distintivi nella produzione dell'artista.
Daniella Castellani ci propone una danza sospesa che interroga i confini e i misteri della vita. Le sue ballerine volteggiano senza danzare, ricordandoci come "anche nelle difficoltà ogni azione debba essere svolta con la delicatezza di un passo di danza."
