PENA JEWELS

“Pena” means “feather” in Portuguese, and Lisbon’s personality is in the brand’s DNA.
After starting her career as a publicist, Miriam Alvarez decided to step in a new direction and explore her creative disquiet. Unable to withstand the allure of Lisbon, she found herself in Portugal, learning and soon excelling in the traditional craft of jewelry-making. Her label Pena Jewels, found back in 2011 is now based in Spain, but the original Lisbon vibe still remains in every new collection. Its contemporary design, combined with traditional techniques, produces pieces of jewelry for both men and women hand made in Spain with love and care. Today, the jewelry label is based in Madrid, with points of sale in Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, China, Japan...
All products are handmade in her atelier in Madrid, she uses the lost-wax casting technique, which is more than 5,000 years old.
