REVOLUTIONARY NEW LOOK

During the 50's, after the revolutionary New Look created by Christian Dior,  some people disapproved of  this new style  because  the length of the skirts were a retrograde step compared to certain feminist conquests. This conquest allowed women  to be free from wearing  corsets and tight dresses so in turn they started to wear more practical and comfortable clothing.
Despite this disapproval, the New Look is still relevant in todays fashion world and it's always an inspiration for  designers.
